    What We Do
    We stand ready to organize workers who want to bargain collectively. We advocate and deliver contracts that guarantee decent wages, fair promotions, health coverage, job security, paid time-off and retirement income.

    Who We Are
    Teamsters Local 483 has been chartered and doing business in Boise Idaho since 1939.  It is our mission to organize and educate workers towards a higher standard of living.

    Who We Represent
    Currently, we have over 1500 unionized employees. We represent 16 employers in the Treasurer Valley, Magic Valley, and the Sun valley area. Nationally, there are 1.4 million members under 21 Industrial Divisions that include virtually every occupation imaginable, both professional and non-professional, private and public sectors.
    UPS and Teamsters Resume Negotiations

    As the Teamsters National UPS and UPS Freight Negotiating Committees prepare to resume contract negotiations on February 19, members are continuing to take an active role and asking questions. More than 20,000 Teamsters joined the UPS and UPS Freight contract negotiations update call on January 28, and scores of members left questions after the call.

    Teamsters UPS Negotiations Make Progress

    The Teamsters National UPS Negotiating Committee has made progress on a variety of issues as the second week of contract negotiations with UPS wrapped up today.
